TS1: What is the voltage for my locks on my tubestands?

TS1: What is the voltage for my locks on my tubestands?
All the magnetic locks on tubestands are 24 VDC.

TS2: How come I have a lock coil missing for the top of my tubestand?
Your tubestand model may not have this feature. Only models 3308B, 3309B and FWFC tubestands have magnetic locks at the top of the tubestrands.

TS3: Which tubestands have rotational column feature?
Only models 3308B and 3309B, FWFC, FMTS and DFMTS have this rotational column feature.

TS4: How wide is the floor plate on FMTS and DFMTS tubestands?
These two tubestands have a 18’’ wide and 10 foot long floor base plate.

TS5: My roll locks do not hold very good, the tube sometimes slips downward. What shall I do?
  • Make sure that both lock coils are working.
  • Clean the brake plate and magnetic lock coil with alcohol.
  • Make sure you have 24 VDC applied to lock coils.
  • If necessary replace brake plate and both magnetic locks.

TS6: My detents do not work on my transverse arm travel, what shall I do?
The detent spring is most likely broke, replace the detent spring.

TS7: My tube rotation is hard to turn on my model 3308B, 3309B, FWFC, FMTS and DFMTS tubestand, what shall I do?
Cone bearings are most likely cracked, replace them.
