U1: Does the U-ARC need its own power supply?
Yes, the U-ARC requires a dedicated single phase 230/240 VAC, 2kVA supply.

U2: I have 208 VAC, single phase existing, will this work?
No. The U-ARC motor inverters get their power directly from the source. 208 VAC is not sufficient enough to operate these inverters. The result would be an undesirable jerky motion and intermittent error messages.

U3: Can I get the power for the U-ARC from the x-ray generator?
Although it has been done by some installation teams, it is not designed to be installed this way and is not recommended; a dedicated supply is needed.
